As we continue working with partners in Grand Rapids, MI to create sustainable economic opportunity, Sarah Klerk and I met with the Grand Rapids Family Economic Security Action Teams on June 12, 14. These community teams are taking the ideas the community brought forth in 2013 and writing implementation strategies that will help improve economic opportunities and stability for individuals and families in the neighborhoods of focus.
Action Teams are comprised of cross-sector community members including employers, faith organizations, education providers, residents, and service providers.
In the pictures, Action Team members present strategy development work to the group.
