Preparing the Future Global Workforce

The-Transatlantic Technology and Training Alliance (TA3) is having its Annual Meeting this week in Belfast, Ireland. The business meeting will be preceded by a day-long symposium focused on a variety of issues and policies related to building the future global workforce. The proceedings will be held at the Belfast Metropolitan College and will include conversations centered on ways to bring employers and educators closer together. Topics on the agenda include costs and benefits of apprenticeship programs as well as successful models of college and business partnerships. You can follow the conference on Twitter at #TA3Belfast

The TA3 is a membership consortium of more than 30 leading community and technical colleges, and several state system offices, in the U.S. and Europe. The TA3 promotes community colleges’ efforts to support their regional economies, and promotes the value and importance of a global perspective on community college missions. The TA3 is managed by co-secretariats, Corporation for a Skilled Workforce in the U.S. and the Danish Agency for Universities and Internationalisation in Europe.
