Kysha conducts a blend of research and development, project implementation, and technical assistance focused on strengthening companies and communities. As a part of our Sustainable Communities focus area, Kysha is partnering with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to build collective action and implementation of community recommendations and strategic investment opportunities in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to move families out of poverty.  Previously, Kysha led the CSW team in providing customized technical assistance that emphasizes industry-recognized credential attainment, employment in green jobs, and links between registered apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship programs to American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Green Jobs Innovation Fund grantees.

Prior to joining CSW in 2008, Kysha created, launched and served as business unit leader of Cascade Consulting Group, a consulting division of Cascade Engineering. Kysha was responsible for identifying and designing innovative solutions to assist clients in becoming employers of choice. Before working in the private sector, Kysha served as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Hope College. Kysha earned a master’s in higher education administration from the University of Iowa, a master’s in organizational management from Spring Arbor University, and a bachelor’s from the University of Iowa in anthropology and African American world studies.
