Examines how workers displaced from the oil and gas industry in Canada in recent years have fared after job loss. The analysis uses Statistics Canada’s Longitudinal Worker File. The study shows that for many workers displaced from the oil and gas industry; job loss leads to substantial and persistent earnings declines.
