Please join us in continuing the national dialogue on building a learning-centered credentialing system.
Between January and March 2016 the Connecting Credentials Initiative is hosting a series of interactive webinars featuring credentialing innovations underway across the country. The purpose of these webinars is to increase understanding of the depth and breadth of these initiatives and stimulate further discussion and action to better connect credentials. These webinars expand the dialogue from the e-conversations held throughout the summer and the National Credentialing Summit held in October.
Focus and format
Each webinar features thinkers and doers actively involved in credential innovations on the ground. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about these efforts and participate in an informative discussion among participants and panelists.
The webinars focus on five topics that emerged from the National Credentialing Summit and other input to date:
- Developing common language to serve as the basis for a connected credentialing system
- Using real-time data and technology to empower credential users and create continuous feedback mechanisms
- Creating nimble end-to-end quality assurance processes to support portability and trust of credentials
- Creating scalable employer engagement approach to improve demand signals and increase relevance and currency of credentials
- Creating flexible credentialing pathways leading to family-sustaining job to increase equity.
