Ashley McIver, MPA is the AFN Regional Director, overseeing the North Texas AFN Chapter and leading our national income and employment strategies, with a special focus on youth and young adults.
Ashley is a philanthropic leader and systems strategist with more than a decade of experience advancing economic mobility, educational attainment, and community well-being across Dallas and Fort Worth.
Most recently at Communities Foundation of Texas, she oversaw more than $15 million in strategic grantmaking across Economic Security, Workforce, and Education — and led place-based investments in Southern Dallas communities that aligned philanthropy, public systems, financial institutions, and community-based organizations to expand opportunity and build long-term wealth.

Ashley is the co-author of “I Said What I Said,” an anthology of Black women in nonprofit. She represents the Foundation on several boards and committees, including Co-chair, North Texas Asset Funder’s Network, Tarrant To and Through, Junior League of Dallas Advisory Board, Texas Opportunity Youth Advisory Council, Wells Elementary PTA, Workforce Matters (2020-2023), Encore Park (2022-2023), and DFW Regional Housing Consortium (2020-2022).
