Our Approach to Evaluating Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College Career Training Programs

by Tamitha Walker McKinnis.

CSW is well qualified to conduct a rigorous, quasi-experimental evaluation of your TAACCCT program’s impacts. Our evaluation approach leverages our team’s collective knowledge and experience with community college transformation to support a developmental evaluation approach that assists innovators by providing frequent feedback to program staff to support continuous improvement.

We are leading an evaluation team with New Growth Group for the Multi-State Advanced Manufacturing Consortium, led by Henry Ford Community College.

We’re also leading an evaluation team with the Ray Marshall Center (RMC) for the Study of Human Resources at the University of Texas at Austin for the Training for Regional Energy in North Dakota consortium.

CSW and RMC also are evaluating Tulsa Community College’s TAACCCT initiative, focused on manufacturing careers.

We are conducting the implementation evaluation of the Arkansas Path to Accelerated Completion and Employment consortium initiative as a partner to New Growth Group.

Here are our tips for procuring a strong evaluation for your TAACCCT program. We offer support for creating successful TAACCCT programs. Contact Kathy Stocking at kstocking@skilledwork.org or 734-769-2900 x217 for further details.
